Crow Fair This is Crow Country and each year there is a gathering at Crow Agency just about 50 miles south near another well know historical site, The Battlefield of the Little Big Horn (previously known as Custer's Battlefield).

Pompey's Tower Going southeast from Billings is the only place in the entire west were Lewis and Clark left there mark on Pompey's Pillar. Continuing south is the "Cowboy Capital of the World", Miles City, Montana, were the annual Bucking Horse draws big crowds.

Red Lodge Fine skiing can be found just miles away in Red Lodge, Montana. This is also the entry to one of the most scenic highways in America, the Cook City Highway snaking you up from the valley floor to a breathtaking view from the top of the Rocky Mountain Apsaroka range. This is one of the entances to Yellowstone Park.

Wild Horses Speaking of the mountains, you can spend many hours in the Pryors just south of Billings as seen from the living room. Here the wild mustangs still run free after escaping from the Conquistadors long ago. Here too you will find evidence where American Indians have sought out their vision quests. There is also an ice cave where the ice remains solid throughout the long summer heat.
